Godammit….The edit is finished, at last, I have a movie – the cut is complete all the bits are in the order I want and the story is there and it’s great. That’s what I have been doing these last couple of weeks, stuck in a dark room organising little bits of video. So as soon as I can get the Audio dub (sound mix on the soundtrack) and the colour grade done, it will be ready to exhibit. Starting in Australia. And here’s a funny little tale to tickle you with. In the ‘special thanks to:’ section of the credits I thank a certain Jonny Greenwood (yes, he of Radiohead fame) because he wrote and recorded some music for the film – Jonny is a big fan of the banjo and he had recently taken it up and was happy to try and write and play some music for me, which he did, unfortunately he ran out of time and his banjo playing was not quite as brilliant as his guitar playing – so we had to abandon the attempt. Nevertheless I thank him for his support and no, you will never hear the banjo tracks he wrote and recorded…
