Interesting take on freak shows. How would you suggest to allow disabled people / such ‘freaks’ to be assimilated into society? By education? Changing the infrastructure…?

Do you feel freak shows are empowering or simply reinforcing prejudice ideas on people that are dissimilar to the rest of society?

Im currently writing a university essay on disability and freak shows so would appreciate your view and suggestions for this.

I really wish the people in charge of these film festivals would get off thier PC Soapboxes. The Last American Freakshow is about Real People who may look a little different than others but are Happy with Who We are.
We don’t change ourselves to look like the rest.
We are Real People and Living Real Lives.
I’m really Glad to Have met You and been a small part of the Film.
